The successful applicant will have exceptional public relations skills, verbal and written communication skills, computer related skills, abilities in conflict management, and be familiar with enforcement procedures. The candidate we are looking for will have a two year diploma in law enforcement, criminal justice or related field, or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Bylaw Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of various Municipal Bylaws including animal control. The preferred candidate will be able to work with minimum supervision and be available to work varied shifts as required. |
